My name is Ian Hudson and I welcome you to my site and porfolio of works. I have been a professional artist for thirty years and working with watercolours is my principal medium. I also employ charcoal (for life-drawing and figure studies), pastels and pencil too. My subjects include landscapes, wildlife, portraiture, and maritime studies, particularly those of working sail on the Taw/Torridge estuary during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. I also teach watercolours and life-drawing at various venues. |

I am a member of the Westward Ho! & Bideford Art Society and each Summer members selected works are exhibited at the Burton Gallery in Bideford.
